Police are hunting two people after a man was left in a critical condition following an assault in Lincoln.

Officers were called to an address in Monks Road on Sunday where a man in his 30s was found with serious injuries.

Lincolnshire Police said detectives wanted to locate Sarah Mason, 46, and Matthew Pearson, 28, who are wanted on suspicion of attempted murder.

The force said both had links to Lincoln, Boston and Skegness.
