Man, 78, dies in single-vehicle crash

A man has died following a single-vehicle crash.

Essex Police was called to Bertram Avenue in Clacton-on-Sea at about 12:45 BST on Saturday.

Paramedics and an air ambulance also attended, but a 78-year-old man was pronounced dead at the scene.

His family has been informed and are being supported by the police.
