Bus bursts into flames outside Fife election count
A bus has burst into flames outside an election count site in Fife.
The Scottish Fire and Rescue Service (SFRS) were alerted to the vehicle fire outside Michael Woods Sports Centre in Glenrothes at about 13:50.
It is understood the driver escaped moments before the fire took hold. An eyewitness said the double decker was "gutted" but the count in Glenrothes was not disrupted.
SFRS said there were no casualties and two fire crews remained at the scene dampening down hot spots.

One of the entrances to the Michael Woods Centre was closed off as firefighters tackled the bus fire.
Dramatic footage shows huge flames engulfing the Stagecoach vehicle as clouds of dark grey smoke billow into the air.
A spokesperson for SFRS said: "Operations Control immediately mobilised two appliances to the scene and firefighters extinguished a fire affecting a double decker bus which was well alight.
"There were no reported casualties and crews remain on scene dampening down hot spots."
The road remains closed by police with traffic being diverted.
A spokesperson for Stagecoach confirmed one their vehicles was involved in a "thermal incident".
They added: "The safety and wellbeing of our customers and colleagues is always our absolute priority and we're pleased to confirm that all customers and the driver were safely evacuated and are fully accounted for.
"We will carry out a full internal investigation into the cause of the incident, although it is too early at this stage to determine the circumstances involved."
