Three people sentenced after ill-treatment of animal
BBCThree people in Guernsey have been given sentences at the Magistrates Court for the ill-treatment of an animal through sexual acts.
Peter Beau Leigh, 73, of Green Lanes, was given a 10 week prison sentence while Ian Chatting-Tonks, 63, of Les Prevosts Road was ordered to serve 120 hours of community service.
Elaine Michelle Pasquier, 66, of Routes Des Coutures, was given 170 hours of community service for the ill-treatment of an animal through sexual acts as well as behaving in an indecent manner in public places.
The trio were charged in August 2025 with a string of offences allegedly occurring between 2017 and 2024, the court heard.
In a separate case heard in the Royal Court, Mr Leigh was also sentenced to two years in prison for telecommunications offences and behaving in an indecent manner at different sites across the island.
In the same case, Mr Chatting-Tonks was also sentenced to an additional 100 hours community service for telecommunications offences.
