BBC Weather Watchers / John FatkinThis week, we saw the last full moon of summer 2025 - known as the Sturgeon Moon because late summer is the time when sturgeon fish are most plentiful in the Great Lakes of North America.
While the night sky was dazzling us, we also enjoyed long, hot summer days.
Our Weather Watchers have been out capturing scenes across the north-east of England and Cumbria.
Here are some of our favourites.
