Make a Difference Awards open for nominations
BBCNominations have opened for BBC Radio Guernsey's Make a Difference Awards 2026.
The campaign celebrates people who go above and beyond to improve the lives of others in their communities.
There are eight categories, and judges will chose four finalists and one overall winner, who will be announced in September.
Poppy Murray, 2025 winner, was nominated for her work as a women's safety campaigner and founder of the charity SafetyNet Guernsey.
She said winning had helped her promote the work.
"You get to talk about that cause more and gain that support, so it's been really valuable for that."

The founders of Autism and Me Guernsey, Lorna Higgins-Bare and Antonia Rainbow, were the 2024 winners.
Ms Rainbow said the win had helped the group grow to more than 750 members.
"It really raised the awareness of what we're doing for families with autism in Guernsey, but also really helped us raise the message of what we are trying to do."
Murray will be one of the four judges considering this year's nominations and is keen to see as many entries as possible.
"I would honestly encourage anyone who knows someone who is doing some good in any way, shape or form in the island please just put them forward, you never know what impact that's going to have on them.
"The difference that it will make to that person, it might just spur them on to keep doing all that good work."
Full details on categories and how to nominate someone have been posted online.
Nominations are open until 17:00 BST on 31 March.
