Jeremy Clarkson is set to welcome more than 25,000 visitors to Diddly Squat Farm for one of the UK's leading farming events.

The Cereals 2026 event will take place at the farm in Chadlington, Oxfordshire, on 10 and 11 June.

The former Top Gear presenter said he was "thrilled to bits" to be hosting the event, which organisers describe as the UK's flagship arable show.

He said it offered "something positive" at a time when British farmers are facing "some of toughest conditions seen in decades".

Speaking at a recent press conference, Clarkson said: "I'm in an extremely fortunate position with other income streams.

"I can't even begin to imagine how awful it must be for farmers who don't host Who Wants to be a Millionaire. It must be utterly soul destroying with what's going on now."

Event director Alli McEntyre said Diddly Squat's profile would help draw wider attention to challenges facing British agriculture.

"Hosting Cereals at the high-profile farm under the auspices of host farmer, Jeremy Clarkson, will help to draw attention to the ongoing issues that arable farmers, and the wider UK farming industry, are facing," she said.

She added live events remained vital for bringing farming communities together "to connect, share ideas and find solutions".

Cereals is an annual agricultural trade event featuring crop plots, machinery demonstrations, expert seminars and networking opportunities for farmers and others in the industry.
