Traitors star lifts the lid on filming hit TV show
BBCThe Traitors star Minah Shannon has lifted the lid on what it is like filming the hit BBC show, ahead of the series four UK final.
Minah, who was the longest-standing traitor of the 2025 series, said she had messaged her fellow contestants to apologise for her lies and deceit on the show.
Hosted by Claudia Winkleman, The Traitors sees 22 contestants split into the "faithfuls" and "traitors", with the former looking to find the latter before they are murdered or banished.
"When I got my phone back and I managed to get everyone's number, I texted everyone individually and apologised for murdering them and for getting them banished," she said.
"I felt so guilty, it's not in my nature to scheme against people like that.
"So then I felt like my conscience was cleared because I apologised."
During her time on the show, fans watched as she tricked the faithful contestants by banishing two fellow traitors.
Her performance took her all the way to the final episodes, only to be voted out two days before the final.
Her move of recruiting a faithful to be a fellow traitor was ultimately her downfall, as at Minah's final round table, it was the recruited traitor's vote which sealed her fate and saw her banished from the castle.
Minah said contestants were left to their own devices to try to expose the traitors, or in her case, attempt to fly under the radar.
"[The production team] get to see the magic unfold," she said.
"They've got a great casting team and they've got people like myself and they say 'just go and have fun' in Inverness.
"They don't get involved in any of the conversations. You are left to just talk to who you want to talk to, when you want to talk to them, start rumours when you want to and speculate when you want to.
"None of us are actors. We're all just random people who want some money and start acting chaotic."
The TraitorsWhen asked about whether she would be willing to take part in a The Traitors All Stars series, she gave a mixed response.
"The only thing that would make me say 'yay' is if it was purely just traitors.
"If I went in or Harry [Clark] or Wilf [Webster] or Rachel [Duffy] – sorry if Rachel goes back with a group of faithfuls, she's getting banished straightway and that's not fair.
"If it's a group of past traitors we've all been there before."
The final episode of The Traitors UK series four will be broadcast at 20:00 GMT on Friday 23 January on BBC One.
