Flights at Norwich Airport have been affected by the fault

Passengers are being asked to check with their airlines before flying following a problem at Norwich Airport.

Some flights have been cancelled or diverted due to a technical fault with a back-up generator.

A spokesman for the airport said it had impacted "the use of some systems for which alternative power must be available under aviation regulations".

The fault has been identified and repairs are expected to be completed overnight.
