A man has been left seriously injured after being attacked with a machete in Coventry.

Officers were called to the scene on William McKee Close in Binley shortly after 11:00 BST on Tuesday.

The victim was taken to hospital with "serious arm injuries," a West Midlands Police spokesperson said.

Police inquiries are ongoing and anyone with information has been asked to come forward.
