Paedophile who targeted teenage girls jailed
Lincolnshire PoliceA man has been jailed for eight years and six months after being convicted of a number of sex offences against two children.
Larry Roberts, 69, was found guilty in November of sexual assault and five counts of engaging in sexual activity in the presence of a child.
The victims were aged between 13 and 15 when the crimes took place between 2004 and 2010, Lincolnshire Police said.
Roberts, from the Chippenham area of Wiltshire but formerly from Boston, was also placed on the sex offenders register for life following his sentencing at Lincoln Crown Court on Monday.
Det Con Sarah Oliver said: "The complainants in this case have lived with the impact of these events throughout their adult lives.
"It was through their resilience and determination that they found the courage to come forward and ensure their voices were heard.
"This journey has been incredibly challenging for both of them, but I hope this outcome has provided a sense of validation."
