Part of a main road through the Peak District has been shut following a crash.

Derbyshire Police said a stretch of the A57 Snake Pass, which links Sheffield and Manchester, was shut at the bridge over Ladybower Reservoir at about 14:00 BST on Saturday.

The crash involved a motorbike and a car, the force added.

The road is expected to be shut for "some time" and drivers are being asked to use alternative routes.
