Burst water pipe sends jet of water 30ft into air
Emergency repairs are under way after a large pipe has burst, sending gallons of water into the air.
Gloucester residents captured footage of the water spraying up to 30ft (9.1m) out of the ground at Haycroft Drive in Matson on Thursday.
Severn Trent said no customers in the area are without water and its teams are "working at pace" to shut the flow of water off and begin repairs.
A spokesperson said: "We understand that these works and an increased Severn Trent presence in the area may cause some disruption, and we'd like to thank everyone for their patience while we carry out these essential repairs."
The incident is near to where another burst pipe expelled thousands of gallons of water.
In May, the water company apologised to Gloucester residents after two pipes burst in as many days.
People living in Winnycroft Lane, Matson, woke up to a 50ft (15m) gush of water rushing out of the ground. Rush hour commuters also struggled as another pipe burst on the A417 Westgate Bridge.
