A man has been charged with attempted murder following a shooting in Wolverhampton.

Tyriq Bingham, 22, was arrested on Monday and charged after a 19-year-old man was shot in Peel Street on 12 October.

Bingham was charged with attempted murder, firearms possession, robbery and possession of a Class B drug.

He was remanded into custody and is due to appear before magistrates in Wolverhampton on Wednesday.
