A woman has died after a single-vehicle collision near Exeter Airport, police have confirmed.

The force said officers were called to the A30 slip road at Clyst Honiton at about 12:05 BST on Sunday.

The incident involved a Blue BMW 5 Series Saloon, and a woman in her 30s from Plymouth was pronounced dead at the scene.

A man, also from Plymouth and in his 30s, was taken to hospital with serious injuries.

Police said anyone with information or dashcam footage should contact them.
