Women rescued after fire breaks out in garage
BBCTwo women have been rescued from a fire on a south of Scotland housing estate.
Eyewitness Mari Murray said people rushed to help and smashed a window in order to help her aunt and cousin out of the property on Dinwiddie Drive in Heathhall.
Emergency services were called out at about 14:30 after the fire broke out in the garage.
Murray - who had just arrived for a visit as the fire took hold - said it had spread very quickly and thanked everyone involved with helping get her relatives to safety.

"I just came for a planned visit and noticed a bit of fire from the garage and I ran in," she said.
"The fire was spreading far too fast - I could see that it was going to connect to the house."
She said her cousin had gone into the house to help but then she realised they were shut inside.
However, people quickly gathered to assist and smashed a window to help them get out.
"Before I knew it there were six men there and they managed to get my auntie out and then got my cousin out," she said.
"They were absolutely amazing - they wouldn't have been out of that house now if they hadn't gone in, they were absolutely brilliant."
The Scottish Fire and Rescue Service said it had been called out at 14:23.
"Operations control mobilised four appliances to the scene, where firefighters are working to extinguish the fire affecting a single-storey building," said a spokesperson.
"Two reported casualties have been taken into the care of the Scottish Ambulance Service.
"Crews remain at the scene."
