An investigation is under way into a fire at an industrial building in Leicestershire.

Fire crews were called after residents saw smoke and fire coming from Natsons Midland Packaging's factory in New Star Road, Thurmaston, at about 20:00 GMT on Sunday.

People living nearby were told to close their windows and doors, and the fire was extinguished just before 23:00.

Leicestershire Fire and Rescue Service confirmed all individuals were accounted for, and officers remained at the scene on Monday morning.

The company, which manufactures products including tissues, baby wipes and hygiene products, was contacted for comment.
