Two teenage boys charged with the murder of a man in his 40s are set to appear in court next year.

The boys, aged 15 and 17, who cannot be named due to their age, are charged with the murder of Hamid Erfani in the St Pauls area of Cheltenham on 16 December.

At Bristol Crown Court earlier a plea and trial preparation hearing was set for 27 February.

The teenagers, who are also charged with possession of a bladed article and robbery, remain in youth detention.
