Police have seized cannabis plants worth an estimated £200,000 in an East Yorkshire village.

Humberside Police raided the property on Foston Lane, North Frodingham, near Driffield, earlier.

According to the force, two men fled from the property during the operation and were later arrested following a foot chase.

The men, aged 18 and 27-years-old, were arrested on suspicion of production of Class B drugs and remain in custody.

The operation was part of the force's kinetic intervention initiative which officers said targets serious and organised crime in the region.
