Literary festival announces more acts
BBCSeveral more names have been announced as part of the 2026 Wolverhampton Literature Festival.
Natalie Haynes, author of A Thousand Ships and Pandora's Jar, will be discussing her new book No Friend to This House.
She will be joined by Justin Hardy and Chris Nunn for a documentary screening on the companion book to the documentary Children Of The Wicker Man, organisers said.
Thriller writers Mark Edwards, from the city, and TM Logan will be appearing at the festival which takes place from Friday 6 until Sunday 8 February, alongside broadcaster and writer Stuart Maconie.

There will be 90 events happening across Wolverhampton including local talent.
The latest names will be joining Dr Hilary Jones and Blur drummer Dave Rowntree, who were revealed as guests last month, along with author Kasim Ali, who was born and raised in Alum Rock and My Name is Leon author Kit de Waal, who was also born in Birmingham.
"This is a city-wide celebration of creativity, culture and connection, where stories take centre stage and voices from every background are heard," councillor Chris Burden, cabinet member for city development, jobs and skills, said.
"It's a festival that's vibrant, inclusive, and brimming with inspiration. I encourage everyone to take part and secure their tickets."
