Cash machine stolen in early morning ram raid

A cash machine has been taken in a ram raid at a convenience store in the early hours.

Hampshire Police were called to the Co-op on Winchester Road in Chandler's Ford at about 05:15 GMT.

They said a 4x4 vehicle was used to force entry and a cash machine was stolen from inside but was later recovered.

Detectives did not say whether any cash was stolen but said they were investigating whether the incident was linked to any other raids.
