More than 700 cannabis plants seized in £600,000 drug raid

Police raided a vacant property on Crown Terrace in Aberdeen

Police have seized drugs worth more than £600,000 from a disused building in Aberdeen.

Officers discovered 762 cannabis plants during the raid on the property in Crown Terrace on Thursday.

No-one was inside the premises at the time, but officers estimated the value of the drugs recovered to be worth about £610,000.

Sgt Stuart Stevenson described the seizure as "significant" and asked for anyone with information to contact officers.
