A woman found dead in her garden died due to "unnatural" reasons because of the use of a "combustible liquid", an inquest has heard.

Anna Myshenkova, 42, was discovered near the home on Orchard Crescent in Chippenham, Wiltshire on 5 March.

An inquest into her death was opened and adjourned earlier at HM Area Coroner for Wiltshire & Swindon in front of coroner Ian Singleton.

Police said the alarm was raised by a member of the public after an explosion was heard.

A police officer who provided a witness statement to the hearing said the force had been called by the ambulance service after reports "a person was on fire and expected to be deceased" at about 15:20 GMT.

A member of the public had initially raised the alarm, the court heard.

Myshenkova, a married finance manager originally from Russia, was identified as the victim.

Singleton said: "From the information I've been provided with, this was an unnatural death involving use of combustible liquid in a garden, ignition of part of a body or clothing and extensive burns."

The inquest was adjourned until 9 July to allow for further investigations to take place.
