Two new industrial units have been approved at an estate in Buckinghamshire, despite some concerns from residents.

Buckinghamshire Council gave the go ahead for the development on the Marlow Bottom Rose Industrial Estate.

It has been designed to be used for storage and office use, on an area of hardstanding which has not been put to use commercially.

Three people objected to the scheme.

The council said they raised concerns over highway safety, parking issues and noise, but the full comments were not made public.

The council's highways officer disagreed with the residents and said parking would not be an issue.

The applicant also argued the proposed use was appropriate, despite the site being close to residential homes.

A statement from them on the application said: "The scheme is not considered to result in there being any harm caused to the amenities of the neighbouring residential plots."
