Hollywood Vampires will play at two outdoor Yorkshire venues

Johnny Depp is set to perform at two Yorkshire venues this summer with his Hollywood Vampires band.

The group, which also features veteran rockers Alice Cooper and Tommy Henriksen alongside Aerosmith's Joe Perry, will play their first live shows in almost three years.

After starting their tour at the O2 in London, the band will perform at Scarborough Open Air Theatre (OAT) on 15 August and The Piece Hall in Halifax on 22 August.

Depp previously surprised fans in the region by appearing on stage in Sheffield as part of guitarist Jeff Beck's European tour.

The actor turned musician popped up on the City Hall stage in May 2022 while jury deliberations were taking place following a high-profile defamation trial involving Depp and his ex-wife Amber Heard.

The following year, Hollywood Vampires opened their tour with a sold-out show at OAT, which was their last Yorkshire appearance.

The band said of their latest tour: "We're looking forward to incredible crowds, massive energy and more unforgettable nights."

The Damned will be special guests at both Yorkshire concerts

Formed in 2015, Hollywood Vampires play the music from rock legends, alongside their own material.

Shows feature tunes from The Who, Led Zeppelin, Motörhead and others along with hits from Alice Cooper and Aerosmith.

They will be supported by The Damned at both Yorkshire dates, with tickets on sale later this month.

Julian Murray, from Scarborough OAT promoters Cuffe and Taylor, said: "Hollywood Vampires are rock royalty, and after their sell-out show here in 2023, we knew we had to bring them back."

Scarborough has welcomed other actor-cum-musicians to their outdoor stage, such as Will Smith in August 2025..

Acts lined up for 2026 include Michael Bublé, Madness, Richard Ashcroft and Bastille.
