Find out how your local hospital is doing on cancer waits
BBCThe government has pledged that by 2029 the NHS in England will once again be hitting its key cancer targets.
Only a handful of NHS hospitals met all three key targets in the 12 months up to November 2025.
Hospitals should:
- diagnose or rule out cancer in 75% of cases within 28 days of urgent referral
- begin treatment in 96% of cases within another 31 days
- ensure the whole journey takes no longer than 62 days in 85% of cases
The last one, the 62-day wait for treatment to start, has not been met for more than a decade.
But how is your local service doing and how far has it got to go? Use our search to find out.
