How to get £20 Harry Styles tickets for Co-op Live gig
Getty ImagesHarry Styles has announced a one-off date in Manchester with tickets for the show costing much less than those on his sold-out world tour.
The singer took to Instagram on Wednesday to post the details of a "One Night Only" show at Manchester's Co-op Live Arena on 6 March, the date when his upcoming album, Kiss All The Time, Disco Occasionally, will also be released.
Fans will be able to submit a request for the £20 tickets on Friday, according to the singer's post.
Request process
The event will be held at the Co-op Live Arena - with the ticket prices likely possible due to Styles being an investor and shareholder at the venue.
The Co-op Live arena website crashed shortly after the announcement and a spokesperson for the venue has said tickets would be made available through a "request process", running from Friday to Sunday, "to ensure tickets go to fans".
The former One Direction star will be playing at the same arena a week earlier when he performs at the Brit Awards on 28 February.
What is a ticket request?
The planned system means fans are invited to request tickets rather than competing in a first-come-first-served sale.
It will open on Friday - with exact times are yet to be confirmed.
Details will likely be shared by HSHQ, the pop star's website and social media updates page.
As fans of Styles will know, nothing is guaranteed when it comes to securing tickets to see the singer - and much like his typical ticket sales, submitting a request does not guarantee tickets.
According to Ticketmaster, a ticket request means fans can "take time to review the available options and request the right tickets".
How to request tickets
To request tickets:
- Visit the artist's request page on Ticketmaster (on Friday - time TBC)
- Select the tickets you would like
- Add your payment details
Fans will receive an email that details what has been requested.
No charge will be made at that point - but Ticketmaster said a temporary £1 authorisation fee may be charged to validate any requests.
"All you need to do is tell us which shows you're interested in, the type of ticket you want and your payment details," a spokesperson said.
"If the tickets you request can be fulfilled, your card will be charged and we'll email you instructions to access them in the Ticketmaster app."
How many tickets can I request?
While a ticket limit has not been announced yet, most events have a ticket limit.
The full details of each ticket request program will be available on the event page.
