Witness appeal after man attacked in town centre

The victim argued with the suspects in Maverick's bar and was later followed and attacked, police said

A 35-year-old man suffered head injuries for which he needed hospital treatment when he was attacked by three men in Bingley, police have said.

The assault took place on Old Main Street at about 04:00 GMT on Sunday, according to West Yorkshire Police.

The victim, from Bradford, was followed by three suspects after he became involved in a dispute with one of them in Maverick's Bar on Main Street. Following the attack, he was treated in hospital for serious head injuries which were not thought to be life-threatening, officers said.

Anyone who saw what happened, or who had footage of the incident, was asked to contact police.
