A woman has died after a fire broke out at a bungalow in Sheffield.

Firefighters attended Hardy Place in Upperthorpe at about 22:45 GMT on Saturday.

They brought the woman out of the property but she died at the scene, South Yorkshire Fire & Rescue Service said.

South Yorkshire Police said it was supporting the fire service, which is leading an investigation into the cause of the fire.
