A holiday camp will host a "family friendly recruitment day" in an effort to find 100 new workers.

Butlin's in Skegness will provide entertainment for children to allow applicants to talk to staff.

The company said it is looking for 60 people for "team member plus" roles who work across different departments, as well as bar workers, chefs, and lifeguards.

The open day is on 15 January and job seekers can pre-register on the company's website.

Andrew Leivers, resort director at Butlin's Skegness, said: "Our open recruitment day is about more than just showcasing the wide variety of positions we have on offer.

"As Butlin's celebrates turning 90 this year, it's an opportunity for candidates to understand our culture and values which help us provide our guests with entertaining and fun breaks."

The Skegness site was founded in 1936 by Billy Butlin and was the UK's first-ever holiday camp.

It is home to the famous Redcoats, many of whom went on to be television stars including Ted Rogers, Dave Allen and Stephen Mulhern.

Ringo Starr was playing drums with another band at Skegness in 1962 when he got a phone call asking him to join the Beatles.
