Arrest after motorcyclist seriously hurt in crash

A man has been arrested on suspicion of causing serious injury by dangerous driving following a three-vehicle crash in Lincolnshire, police said.

Emergency crews were called to reports of a crash involving a motorcycle, van and car on the A153 between Anwick and North Kyme, near Sleaford, at about 06:00 GMT on Thursday.

The male rider suffered serious injuries, according to Lincolnshire Police.

The force added the arrested man, aged 62, was later released as inquiries continue.

Officers said they are keen to build a picture of the moments leading up to the crash.

Witnesses or anyone with relevant dashcam is asked to contact police.
