A car driver has been killed in a crash involving a lorry in Downham Market.

The victim was in his 70s and died at the scene of the collision, which happened on the A10 close to the junction with Rouse's Lane at 12:08 GMT on Monday, Norfolk Police said.

The man was driving a grey Volkswagen Tiguan when it was involved in a crash with a white Mercedes-Benz Actros HGV.

Officers have urged anyone who saw the collision, or the way the vehicles were being driven beforehand, to contact them.

They also appealed for any relevant dashcam footage to be sent to them.

The road was closed while emergency services, including fire and ambulance crews, attended the scene.
