A van driver has been arrested on suspicion of causing death by careless driving after a motorcyclist died in a crash at a main road junction.

A man in his 20s died at the scene of the crash at Trafalgar Crossroads on the B4077 near Temple Guiting, Gloucestershire, on Wednesday.

The collision, which happened at about 19:30 BST, involved a Honda motorcycle and a white Volkswagen panel van.

Gloucestershire Constabulary said the van driver, who is in his 20s and from Worcestershire, remains in custody and is due to be questioned by officers later.

Several roads, including the B4077, were closed to enable the initial stages of a police investigation, but all have since reopened.
