Sixth person arrested over car fire attack
Mike HindA sixth person has been arrested in connection with an alleged arson attack outside a family's home.
Three cars were destroyed by the blaze, which broke out on the driveway of the property in Marton, Middlesbrough, during the early hours of 21 May.
Doorbell camera footage released at the time showed owner Mike Hind running from the house screaming to his wife and three children to "get out".
Cleveland Police said a 30-year-old man was arrested on Friday on suspicion of arsonand released on bail pending further investigation. Five others remain on bail.
A man, 49, and a 38-year-old woman were arrested on suspicion of arson and stalking, while another woman, 29, was also arrested in August on suspicion of stalking.
In September, a 28-year-old and 23-year-old man were arrested on suspicion of arson.
Mr Hind, a personal trainer, had been appointed MBE in 2022 for charitable work during the Covid pandemic.
