A52 reopens after collision involving horses

The A52 in Derbyshire has been reopened after a collision involving horses and multiple vehicles.

Traffic was stopped in both directions, between the A5111 and the M1 near Borrowash, on Sunday afternoon due to horses on the carriageway.

National Highways said there had been a collision "involving multiple vehicles and horses". No further details have been confirmed.

The road reopened at about 13:30 GMT, according to the highways authority.
