Woman sexually assaulted by masked men in alleyway

Police have launched an investigation after a woman was reportedly sexually assaulted in an alleyway by two balaclava-clad men.

South Yorkshire Police said the victim was grabbed and assaulted in an alleyway off Greenfield Gardens in Flanderwell, Rotherham, at 23:00 on Wednesday before she managed to escape.

One of the suspects is described as approximately 6ft (180cm) tall, of medium build and wearing grey trousers, while the second man is described as about 5ft 6ins (167cm) tall, of skinny build and wearing black clothing.

Police are appealing for anyone with information, or anyone who may have seen two men acting suspiciously in the area prior to the incident, to come forward.
