Man in hospital with serious injuries after crash

A man is in hospital with serious injuries following a crash involving a pedestrian and a car.

Gloucestershire Police were called to the A38 Bristol Road at Whitminster at around 18:54 GMT on Saturday following a report of a crash involving a pedestrian and a yellow Hyundai.

Emergency services attended, and a pedestrian, a man aged in his 60s, was taken to Gloucestershire Royal Hospital with serious injuries.

Road closures, which had been put in place, have since been removed. Anyone who witnessed the collision or who has dashcam footage is urged to contact police.
