Man charged following pedestrian's death in crash

A man has been charged over the death of a pedestrian who was killed in a collision.

Stuart Withers, 71, of Shrewton in Wiltshire, died after the incident on Exeter Street in Salisbury on 22 November 2024.

Callan Howitt, 30, of South Street, Warminster, has now been charged with causing death by careless driving.

He is due to appear at Salisbury Magistrates Court on 20 February.
