Barrister and author Rob Rinder, filmmaker and environmental storyteller Colin Butfield and veteran broadcaster Edward Stourton are amongst the latest speakers to join the two-week bill of speakers.
The festival, which takes place at various venues from 23 April, features "authors, thinkers and performers" spanning history, science, politics, health, nature, business, poetry, music, food and comedy, say organisers.
The latest names join those announced at the end of 2025 such as doctor and science writer Tim Spector, broadcaster Sophie Raworth, and comedian Cally Beaton.
Festival chairman Rob Shepard said the event "continues to grow in ambition and reach, while remaining deeply rooted in the island and its community".
"The 2026 programme reflects both the calibre of speakers the festival now attracts and its commitment to education, access and participation," he added.
Claire Allen, the festival's director, said based on recent events, they expected tickets to sell out quickly.
"This year's festival reflects such a broad range of interests across our audience, while staying true to our core purpose of celebrating books, ideas and the power of reading," she added.
Marking 14 years since it first began, Guernsey Literary Festival takes place from 23 April to 7 May.
It also coincides with the National Year of Reading.
