No injuries were reported following the incident at The Sheffield College, police say

A teenage boy arrested on suspicion of possessing a bladed article and of affray after a fight at a college in Sheffield has been bailed by police.

Officers were called to The Sheffield College on Granville Road at about 13:00 GMT on Tuesday to reports a fight had broken out between students, with one of them allegedly having been seen with a knife.

A 17-year-old boy was subsequently arrested on Alderson Road, just over a mile (1.5km) from the campus.

South Yorkshire Police confirmed nobody had been injured in the incident and students were able to leave the college as normal.
