Survey seeks deeper understanding of charity sector
BBCA survey has been launched to gain a deeper understanding of how the charitable sector works.
The Association of Guernsey Charities said it hoped its Charity Sector Survey for 2026 would ensure the needs, pressures and contributions of local organisations were clearly understood by the States and wider community.
The survey is open to all charities and non-profit organisation across the island, with a closing date of 29 March.
It said its last survey in 2024 received a "strong response" and provided a base for the association's advocacy work.
Wayne Bulpitt, chair of the association, said: "Good decisions rely on good information. If we want charities' voices to be heard, we need robust evidence about the realities they are facing.
"The 2024 findings strengthened our engagement with the States and funders.
"By taking part in the 2026 survey, organisations can ensure their experiences and challenges are reflected in the conversations that shape policy and support.
"I encourage every charity and non-profit to take part."
