Enforcement notice issued to former restaurant
BBCAn enforcement notice has been issued to stop using a former seaside restaurant as a private home.
Nude Dunes at La Pulente in St Ouen's Bay has been unused since it closed down in November 2023.
Initial plans to turn it into self-catered holiday accommodation were rejected in 2024 and revised plans were unanimously rejected earlier in 2025 due to concerns about the potential impact on the landscape.
The enforcement notice, from Planning and Building Jersey said there was "no evidence" to justify the loss of the site at La Pulente for use by the public.
A separate notice also says an unauthorised outhouse and fence have been built on the property.
The owner of the site has two months to comply with the notices.
In May, Nude Dunes lost its appeal to turn the restaurant into self-catering accommodation.
