Taxi driver bailed after teenagers die in crash

A taxi driver who was arrested after two teenagers died as a result of his carcrashing into a tree has been bailed.

The white Tesla crashed on Holland Road near the junction with Popes Lane, in Oxted, Surrey, shortly before 22:00 GMT on Saturday.

Two men, named locally as Jenson Seal and Jake Neaves, died after the crash. Surrey Police said a third teenage man, who was also a passenger, remained "in hospital in a serious condition".

The 30-year-old taxi driver from Oxted who was arrested on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving and causing serious injury by dangerous driving was bailed and remains under investigation.

Officers asked witnesses and anyone with relevant footage to contact them.
