The public is being offered free help on how to avoid falling foul of scammers.

An event to be held in Bantock Park, Wolverhampton, will see a variety of organisations provide advice and information.

The support will be focused around money matters at the drop-in session on 17 April.

It has been organised by the city council's public protection scams team who will be handing out free scam awareness and prevention packs.

Residents will have the chance to speak with representatives covering a range of other issues including energy, dementia, cost of living and neighbourhood safety.
