Strikes by workers at Stansted Airport called off
John Fairhall/BBCStrikes by workers who help disabled passengers at London Stansted Airport have been called off.
About 100 people from facilities firm ABM were due to walk out from Sunday until Wednesday in a dispute over pay and increasing workloads.
A new pay deal has been offered and the strike has been called off to allow workers to be consulted and vote.
Unite regional officer Steve Edwards said: "After talks, we have suspended upcoming industrial action to allow members to have their say and vote on a deal."
In April strikes were also called off amid the ongoing pay dispute.
ABM previously said it wanted to find a "fair" resolution to the dispute.
Unite said the pay rise that members rejected previously was worth an extra 1p per hour for the first year, rising to 2p or 3p in the following 12 months.
