Payment policy brought in at Peak District toilets
BBCVisitors to three refurbished toilets in the Peak District will have to spend a penny before using the facilities.
The Peak District National Park Authority has announced it is imposing a charge of 50p on lavatories at Dovedale, Hartington and Millers Dale.
It comes weeks after the national park's leader said raising taxes to help fund national parks is an "obvious" solution to funding problems.
The toilets will all be "cashless", with only contactless payments allowed.
The fee was introduced at Hartington's public toilet on 30 April, with a similar charge put in place at Millers Dale on 1 May, while Dovedale's is set to come in "early May".
"Every penny goes straight back into helping us look after the national park," the authority said.
