Three teenagers deny library stabbing murder

A teenage man and two boys have denied murder over the stabbing of an 18-year-old near a library.

Michael Ababio was stabbed on Broad Street, near Foleshill Library in Coventry, on the evening of 22 February and died the following morning.

Mahad Mohammed, 19, is accused of murder and attempted murder.

Two 17-year-old boys, who cannot be named due to their age, also face the charges.

The three entered pleas of not guilty at Warwick Crown Court on Monday.

Presiding over the hearing, Judge Kristina Montgomery KC set a trial date of 1 September.
