Investigation after fire at former social club
SuppliedAn investigation is under way into the cause of a fire that ripped through a former social club in Nottingham.
Multiple crews from Stockhill, Arnold, London Road, Carlton and Hucknall fought the blaze at Top Valley Social Club in Ridgeway Walk, Top Valley, following a call at 19:29 BST on Wednesday.
Nottinghamshire Fire and Rescue Service said the fire was located in the roof of the single-storey building, which is believed to have been disused for some time.
Emergency services remained at the scene on Thursday morning after the fire was extinguished. There were no reports of injuries.

Ridgeway Walk was closed in both directions and buses diverted.
Sam Fry, from Nottinghamshire Fire and Rescue, said: "The fire investigation team will go in along with police scenes of crime officers.
"They will review footage from CCTV and likely will conduct a scene search to look for suspected causes of ignition.
"They will report back to us after doing a full appraisal and they should be able to give us more information on what may or may not have happened."
