Sark head teacher suspended amid investigation
BBCThe head teacher of Sark's school has been suspended, the island's government has said.
A spokesperson for the Chief Pleas said the duties of Sark School head teacher Michelle Brady would be carried out by Simon Smith.
"As an investigation is ongoing, it would not be appropriate to comment further at this time," they said, adding: "Temporary suspension while an investigation is undertaken is standard practice and does not imply a finding of wrongdoing."
The BBC has contacted Brady for comment.
The school, which caters for pupils aged three to 13, is the only one in the island.
