Flock of breeding rams stolen near Ashford

Police are hunting thieves who stole a flock of breeding rams.

The 23 sheep were taken from a field near Ashford, Kent, sometime between the morning of 4 September and early afternoon of 6 September.

Officers are trying to trace the driver of a white transit van, which was spotted driving past the field at about 21:30 BST on 3 September.

The stolen rams are breeds not commonly found in Kent.

Two are Bleu du Maine, which have dark faces and wool-free legs.

Also taken were four Beltex rams, which have white faces and fleeces, and 17 Millennium Bleus, which have fleeces with a blue tinge.
